ACH

Automated Clearing House Payments

PhoeniXGate supports multiple ACH/eCheck providers to facilitate processing of transactions with payment data beyond cards (credit/debit/gift and loyalty).

ACH and eCheck payment data may be stored and tokenized using the vault and selected a payment method for manual or automated recurring billing in the same way as stored card data.

Additionally, PhoeniXGate’s ACH/eCheck integrations support multiple ACH processing codes to offer the greatest possible flexibility across merchant types and processing scenarios. ACH codes include:

  • ARC (Accounts Receivable Conversion): for converting paper checks received by mail or drop box into electronic transactions via a MICR reader

  • BOC (Back Office Conversion): for converting paper checks submitted in-person at a point-of-sale device into electronic transactions via a back office MICR reader

  • CCD (Cash Concentration or Disbursement): for transferring funds to or receiving funds from a business

  • PPD (Prearranged Payment and Deposit Entry): used for general prearranged payments, including recurring billing

  • TEL (Telephone Initiated Entry): used when a customer authorizes a transaction via phone

  • WEB (Web Initiated Entry): used when a customer authorizes a transaction via a web or smartphone application
